In 2010 I helped produce and document The Bohemian Masquerade Ball that toured nationally throughout Australia’s east coast for four months. The festival was made up of circus performers, performing artists, musicians and poets. We toured to capital cities as well as tiny regional locations as we weaved our way up the coast. Our bus broke down, we slept on floors and in venues, we performed to as many as 3,500 people at a time and as few as three in certain regions, we cooked for each other with food from the dumpster, loved, cried and everything in between. These images are a window into that world that flashed by all too quickly.
